No artists fits this category more than Q-Tip, the former leader of A Tribe Called Quest, Hip Hop Icon and musical innovator. We were chosen to produce his first Irish performance through a mutual connection. We developed an extensive online ad campaign and several key press features and editorials that all merged perfectly to ensure this sold out well in advance of the event taking place.
With hundreds of offers to book Q-Tip around Europe, we were one of six promoters personally chosen by Q-Tip and his management. ChoiceCuts collaborated to produce the Irish promotion of his recently released ‘Renaissance LP’ and his debut Irish performance. Further highlighting the appreciation our live events have garnered outside Ireland.
After the concert ChoiceCuts hosted a memorable afterparty at The Twisted Pepper for the revellers who came to the live show. Still enjoying the hospitality and atmosphere from the gig Q-Tip immediately picked up where he left off by getting behind the turntables and Djing for over two hours to a frenzied crowd.
Once again delivering live and visual production above and beyond the pack. ChoiceCuts showcased innovative channels for promotion and advertising to ensure the target market were made aware of the event. This is regarded as one of the best concerts to take place in Ireland in the last couple of years.
