Farrell & Chase
Farrell & Chase was founded by graphic designer Pamela Farrell in 2008. With a passion for design which is only matched by her keen eye for detail Farrell & Chase now produce a range of stationery using a traditional letterpress approach that dates back to the mid 15th century. Using this technique the company design and create personal stationery, special occasions, new arrivals and weddings by hand using a vintage Adana printing press.

Farrell & Chase approached us to build their web presence armed with a very definite vision of what they required. We worked closely with Pamela advising on usability and technical matters. This process evolved the existing designs she brought to us to achieve the best results possible. One of the primary goals of the new website was to provide a communications platform that faced customers in a friendly and intuitive way, a product display channel and a shopping cart. Our brief was to provide all of these functions within a single, self-managed system.
Using Wordpress as the core content management system we used the WP eCommerce shopping cart plug-in to integrate with Paypal functionality to provide a simple but effective payment gateway without the overheads of a merchant account and payment gateway. Coupled with our own CC-ImageJuggler this approach achieved exactly what the brief required and was delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.
